- Optional Glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar, 2–3 tbsp milk or eggnog, pinch of nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and spices.
- In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar until light. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
- Gradually fold in dry ingredients until a soft dough forms. Chill 30–60 min (optional).
- Roll into 1–1.5 inch balls, optionally coating them in cinnamon sugar.
- Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool completely.
- Optional: Drizzle or dip in glaze and sprinkle nutmeg.
