For the Meatballs:

- Salt & pepper to taste
For the Sauce:
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream or sour cream
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- Salt & pepper to taste
For the Bake:
- 12 oz egg noodles, cooked al dente
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella or Swiss cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Meatballs: In a large bowl, mix ground beef, pork, onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, milk, nutmeg, allspice, salt, and pepper. Form into small balls.
- Cook the Meatballs: Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown the meatballs on all sides, then remove and set aside.
- Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter. Add flour and whisk for 1–2 minutes. Gradually add beef broth, stirring until smooth. Add cream, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened.
- Combine and Assemble: In a large bowl, mix cooked noodles, meatballs, and sauce. Pour into a greased baking dish.
- Add Cheese: Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly on top.
- Bake: Bake uncovered at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
- Serve: Let rest for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley.
