- 1 oz fresh orange juice
- 1–2 tsp agave syrup or honey
- 2–3 jalapeño slices (adjust for heat preference)
- 2 oz sparkling water or club soda
- Garnishes: lime wheel, jalapeno slice, cilantro sprig, edible flowers
- Optional: zero-proof tequila or agave-flavored spirits
Instructions
- Muddle Jalapeños: Gently muddle jalapeño slices in a shaker to release heat.
- Mix Citrus & Sweetener: Add lime juice, orange juice, and agave syrup. Shake well.
- Add Ice & Shake: Add ice and shake 15–20 seconds. For frozen version, blend with ice.
- Strain & Serve: Strain into a Tajín-rimmed glass, top with sparkling water.
- Garnish: Add lime wheel, jalapeño slice, and cilantro or edible flowers. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust the number of jalapeño slices for mild, medium, or spicy versions.
- Make ahead by preparing citrus juice and jalapeño syrup separately; add sparkling water before serving.
- Frozen version: blend ingredients with ice until smooth.
