Description

A bold and refreshing non-alcoholic margarita with tangy citrus, sweet agave, and a spicy kick from jalapeños. Perfect for parties, summer gatherings, or Cinco de Mayo celebrations. This mocktail is versatile, easy to make, and can be customized with garnishes and non-alcoholic spirits.


Ingredients

  • 2 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz fresh orange juice
  • 12 tsp agave syrup or honey
  • 23 jalapeño slices (adjust for heat preference)
  • 2 oz sparkling water or club soda
  • Garnishes: lime wheel, jalapeno slice, cilantro sprig, edible flowers
  • Optional: zero-proof tequila or agave-flavored spirits

Instructions

  1. Muddle Jalapeños: Gently muddle jalapeño slices in a shaker to release heat.
  2. Mix Citrus & Sweetener: Add lime juice, orange juice, and agave syrup. Shake well.
  3. Add Ice & Shake: Add ice and shake 15–20 seconds. For frozen version, blend with ice.
  4. Strain & Serve: Strain into a Tajín-rimmed glass, top with sparkling water.
  5. Garnish: Add lime wheel, jalapeño slice, and cilantro or edible flowers. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust the number of jalapeño slices for mild, medium, or spicy versions.
  • Make ahead by preparing citrus juice and jalapeño syrup separately; add sparkling water before serving.
  • Frozen version: blend ingredients with ice until smooth.
  • Can be converted into an alcoholic version by adding a splash of tequila.
