It’s smooth, fruity, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. Ideal for summer afternoons or whenever a tropical treat is needed, this easy bubble tea recipe delivers vibrant flavor and satisfying texture in every sip.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup ripe mango (pureed)
  • 1 cup brewed black or green tea (cooled)
  • ½ cup tapioca pearls
  • ½ cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 12 tablespoons sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes (as needed)
  • Water (for boiling pearls)

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook tapioca pearls according to package instructions until soft and chewy.
  2. Drain pearls and soak in a little sugar syrup to keep them soft.
  3. Brew tea and allow it to cool completely.
  4. Blend fresh mango into a smooth puree.
  5. Add tapioca pearls to a tall glass.
  6. Pour mango puree over pearls, then add ice.
  7. Add cooled tea and milk.
  8. Stir well before serving and enjoy with a wide straw.

Notes

  • Use ripe, sweet mango for best flavor.
  • Tapioca pearls are best consumed within 4 hours.
  • Adjust sweetness depending on mango ripeness.
  • For a dairy-free version, use almond, oat, or coconut milk.
  • Chill all ingredients before assembling for extra refreshment.
