A smooth, creamy, and nutty homemade peanut butter syrup that transforms any coffee into a café-style beverage. Perfect for lattes, mochas, iced coffee, or drizzling over desserts. Easy to make with simple pantry ingredients and customizable for vegan or sugar-free options.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup sugar (or brown sugar for deeper flavor)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine peanut butter, sugar, and water in a medium saucepan.
  2. Heat over medium, whisking until sugar dissolves and peanut butter melts.
  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5–7 minutes, stirring frequently.
  4. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and salt if desired.
  5. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve for smooth consistency.
  6. Cool completely before storing in an airtight jar.

Notes

  • Use creamy peanut butter for a smooth syrup.
  • Adjust sweetness or thickness as desired.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks; reheat gently if thickened.
