Description

A cozy fall apple cider sangria infused with crisp apples, pears, oranges, warming spices, and wine or non-alcoholic options. Perfect for Thanksgiving, Friendsgiving, or casual autumn gatherings. Can be made ahead and served chilled for big batch parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups apple cider
  • 2 cups white or red wine (or sparkling wine for festive touch)
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 pear, thinly sliced
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds (optional)
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 star anise pods
  • 12 tbsp maple syrup (optional, adjust sweetness)
  • 1 cup sparkling water or ginger beer (for fizz, optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice apples, pears, and oranges. Add to a large pitcher.
  2. Pour in apple cider, wine, and orange juice. Stir gently.
  3. Add cinnamon sticks, star anise, and maple syrup (if using).
  4. Refrigerate 3–24 hours for flavor infusion.
  5. Just before serving, add sparkling water or ginger beer. Stir gently.
  6. Pour into glasses over ice, garnish with cinnamon sticks or fruit slices.

Notes

  • Can be made non-alcoholic by replacing wine with sparkling apple juice.
  • Make ahead for parties; flavors improve when chilled overnight.
  • Remove fruit slices if storing more than 2 days.
