- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1½ tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: shredded coconut, cinnamon, or toasted nuts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pour melted butter into a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add milk and vanilla; whisk until smooth.
- Pour batter over the melted butter (don’t stir).
- Spoon pineapple evenly over the batter.
- Add dollops of softened cream cheese across the top.
- Bake 35–45 minutes until golden, bubbly, and set in the center.
- Cool 10 minutes before serving.
