  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice (uncooked)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 ½ cups chicken broth
  • 1 packet Italian dressing seasoning mix
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Rinse rice under cold water and spread evenly in the baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, softened cream cheese, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture evenly over the rice.
  5. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then place on top of the rice mixture.
  6. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 60–75 minutes, or until chicken reaches 165°F and rice is tender.
  7. Let rest 5–10 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.
